Preparing a school for a performance review visit

Files, contacts, and classroom context that make a four-to-six-week review run on time.

A school performance review moves faster when one staff member owns the file handoff. Scattered WhatsApp exports slow the quality check and push the draft brief past the agreed date.

Prepare anonymised attendance registers and assessment summaries for the agreed grades. Consistent student codes across both files prevent false gaps that look like missing learners.

Walk reviewers through any coding quirks on day one: transferred students, combined classes, or temporary room closures. Those details belong in a one-page note, not in hallway conversation alone.

Protect teaching time. Reviews at Hillbase use existing records first; classroom observation is outside our standard engagement unless you request a separate arrangement.

When preparation is steady, the draft visual brief arrives within the planned window and leadership still has room for one revision before board season.
